After the happenings of Daa! Daa! Daa!, Ruu has grown into a cheerful teenager living on Otto, his home planet. However, his serene life is interrupted by the arrival of a perplexed girl known as Miu, who travels through a wormhole from Earth. To aid her, Ruu promises to take Miu back to her own world. Unbeknownst to him, Miu happens to be the child of the very people who showed him kindness during his stay on Earth.
