Once a typical high school student with a fervor for nail art, Onda Miku's fate took an unexpected turn after a life-altering accident. The shinigami Sei, a deity of death, bound her to his deadly chain known as Thanato's Lover, mistakenly believing her to belong in the afterlife. Though Miku was resurrected, the chain remains fixed to her wrist until the end of her lifespan, linking her eternally to Sei.
