In three days, Aida Shizuka is scheduled to meet his fate for mercilessly killing his own family. However, prior to his execution, a shinigami pays him a visit. To his surprise, the shinigami is none other than his very own sister, Hibiki, who's on a mission to ensure that her brother's soul is banished to hell. Along with this task, Hibiki has another responsibility to fulfill - to grant the final wish of a young girl suffering from heart disease. Despite his predicament, Hibiki drags her brother along with her to fulfill this dying girl's wish. As they embark on this mission, they begin to realize that things are not always as they appear, including Shizuka's potential innocence. Hibiki and Shizuka vow to investigate their family's demise, and nothing - not even death and the afterlife - will hinder their pursuit for the truth.
