Hinata attends a prestigious all-girls private school and looks up to Tsugeyama Saki, the school's brightest star. Saki, who happens to be the younger sister of Saori, the headmistress and Hinata's own sister, is admired by all for her kindness, beauty, academic prowess and overall perfection.
However, Hinata's world is turned upside down when she learns of her parents' massive debts and their sudden disappearance from the country, leaving her to fend for herself. Faced with no other choice, Hinata accepts Saori's offer to become the campus butler in exchange for room and board. Her first duty is to serve Saki, but as she gets to know her better, she discovers that Saki is nothing like the image she projects to her classmates. In fact, she is a fraud.
