All his life, Yuugo Hachiken had been devoted to studying, striving for excellence and obtaining the highest academic scores possible. But under the overwhelming pressure of his parents' expectations, he finally caves and decides to leave behind his urban lifestyle to enroll in the rural Ooezo Agricultural High School. The only problem is, he knows absolutely nothing about farming!
Despite his lack of agricultural expertise, Yuugo relies on the knowledge and abilities he's gained from his years of studying to embark on a quest to discover the true value of having aspirations and to find his own purpose in life. However, as he soon learns, life is far from uncomplicated, and unforeseen challenges can arise at any given moment. Yuugo must come to terms with the harsh truth that adversities can strike when least anticipated.
