Kraft Lawrence spends his days seeking trade opportunities, dreaming of owning his own shop someday. One day, his adventure takes an unexpected turn when he discovers a naked wolf girl sleeping in his wagon.
The girl names herself as Holo, the wolf deity of the nearby town Pasloe. Fed up with the ungrateful locals, she requests Lawrence to take her back to her hometown of Yoitsu, situated in the far north. In return, she promises to assist him with his mercantile affairs, lending him her shrewd mind and keen judgement.
Together, they travel from town to town, dealing with different people and their troubles. However, as they progress towards their heart's desire and their mutual goal, their days of companionship are numbered.
