Sanemichi was born into a nearly perfect life. His family was wealthy and powerful, and he had the added benefits of being good-natured, intelligent, and athletic. His high school classmates all had Cinderella fantasies about him, and although envious, none of the boys had a legitimate reason to hate him.
One day, Sanemichi's family's flagship company suddenly collapsed, and his father ran away. Sanemichi, along with his former servants - teenage siblings Natsuno and Asasuzu and the forgetful old man Furukawa - were left penniless. The question now is whether Sanemichi can maintain his gentlemanly qualities despite the humiliation and numerous challenges that lie ahead.
