The new enigmatic tool, Googugu application, empowers users to scour Earth's vast information. Unlike its competitors, this app can explore classified government documents and personal diary entries. However, its immense ability exclusively limits to a handheld device nicknamed the "super smartphone."
First-year high school student Kyuu "Q" Sagurada is fortunate to possess such a device. Despite his academic prowess, Q purposefully underachieves and transforms tests into games, much to the chagrin of his childhood friend Yuika Noumaru. He does it to cope with a traumatic event that happened seven years ago when his younger sibling, Shuu, vanished without a trace. But authorities' investigations proved fruitless.
Q attempts to use his advanced smartphone to help solve his brother's cold case. To unlock the necessary information, he must gather "Googugu Points," leading him to explore the device's capabilities further. In his exploration, Q discovers that other users possess super smartphones as well, raising concerns about possible shared reality manipulation.
