The plot centers on Shingo Susa, a freshman in high school who receives an invitation from his former crush, Sayuri Shiroyuki, to join the school's supernatural club. Throughout the series, Susa develops supernatural abilities, which the talented Rei Uryuu tries to activate to unleash the powerful Susanoou psychic giant. Uryuu aims to use it to annihilate humanity and establish a brand-new world order.
