Izumi is a dedicated single father determined to build a better life for himself and his child despite the weight of his past. After his closest friend abruptly ended their friendship and walked away during junior high graduation, Izumi was left shattered. tragically, his wife passed away from complications related to childbirth. Fortunately, Izumi's yakuza brother-in-law, Sawaragi, provided him with much-needed assistance through this difficult time. His life is upended once again when his childhood friend, Takatsudo, surprisingly reappears, leaving Izumi feeling emotionally overwhelmed.
