Shan, born weak and a worry to his family as the son of the Dragon Master Alterion, discovered a dragon egg in the forest and became its master. An anime adaptation was planned for release in Japan in 2015, but ultimately cancelled.
The webtoon "The Dragon Master" is based on the novel "The Owner of the Divine Dragon" by Taeseon. In the novel, Shan is considered the most beautiful person on Atreia, but in the webtoon, he is an ordinary boy mistaken for a girl due to his feminine appearance. Despite having a "harem" of male admirers, Shan identifies as asexual and masculine, causing frustration when mistaken for a girl. The English translation of the webtoon contains misspelled character names, with the Korean original providing accurate spelling and character profiles.
