Rito Yuuki is torn between his feelings for Haruna Sairenji, his crush, and Lala Satalin Deviluke, the princess from another planet. Meanwhile, Momo, Lala's younger sister, develops a love interest in Rito and decides to create a harem for him. Momo enrolls in Rito's school and secretly supports his romantic pursuits while actively seeking out potential candidates, including the alien assassin Konjiki no Yami (also known as "Yami") who becomes infatuated with Rito and even puts her bounty mission on hold.
