Despite Arare's awareness of her fairy ancestry, she could have never predicted that she would step into the Otherworld on her first day of high school. The peculiar sight of her teacher's unbelievably lengthy neck and the various forms of her peers such as ogres, snow demons, cyclops, ghosts, mist beings, Kiri the twin-tailed cat, and Pero, the girl with a long tongue, all caught Arare off guard. What's more, she found herself unprepared for the veil between the worlds to close behind her, leaving her stuck in a school full of monstrous girls.
