Moe, an attractive high school student, struggles to connect with others due to her frank honesty coming across as insensitive. That is, until she meets Eiko Sakamoto, a plain but exceedingly kind girl. Moe finally feels understood and the two become inseparable best friends. Moe treasures their friendship and takes it upon herself to protect Eiko.
As guys express interest in dating her, Moe sets a strict rule: they must also spend quality time with Eiko. Despite outside pressures, the two girls remain steadfast in their bond, proving its depth.
