Nanami Takao has a strong desire to become a cherished teacher who fosters a safe and inclusive atmosphere for her pupils, providing support for their difficulties. However, her students hold a different opinion of her due to an alleged link with the death of a close friend. Kaede Kanda and the other students in Class 2-A at Kamishiro High School determine to seek revenge against Nanami. They masquerade as exemplary students to deceive her, plotting to remove her from their lives. Their strategy incorporates making it seem like their classmate, Miyata Masaru, committed suicide and placing the blame on Nanami for the pain he felt. Tragically, their plot ends up leading to Miyata's actual death. The mysterious circumstances surrounding Miyata's demise catalyze a cascade of revenge that endangers every student in Class 2-A, leading to even more sorrowful losses.
