Izumi is a student at a school that integrates art and music. Both departments compete for awards. Izumi creates artwork for music videos using the pseudonym "Izu" for Kanon, who is believed to be a 21-year-old girl. However, Kanon is actually Kaoru Sagami, a new student and the son of a renowned musician. Kaoru has feelings for Izumi but fears revealing his true identity to her. Meanwhile, Izumi sees Kanon as a competitor and is infatuated with the persona.
