After undergoing throat surgery just before his big break, singer-songwriter Tetsuta loses the ability to sing. When his friend asks him to compose a song, he declines and seeks solace by the sea, where he meets Nagi, a young man who runs a restaurant with his father. As the two spend time together, Tetsuta confides in Nagi and finds himself deeply moved by the younger man's singing. Inspired, he realizes that he wants someone else to perform his music for the first time in his career.
