Having just transferred to Fujigamine Academy, Sara Ayafuji is a sophomore student who has always been timid and nervous. Her face instantly flushes red when someone even calls her name, making it difficult for her to speak. Despite her best efforts to make friends at the academy, she is not successful.
However, after nearly a week at her new school, Ayafuji meets Iris Kagen, the third-year student council president who is respected for her beauty, hard work, and independence. Kagen, who rarely allows anyone to get close to her, has a secret: she is a vampire.
When unforeseen events result in Kagen having to feed off of Ayafuji's blood, Ayafuji becomes Kagen's apparent bride. As time passes, the two girls become closer and develop feelings for one another. But being Kagen’s bride is far more complicated than it appears, and Ayafuji may have to sacrifice more than just her blood to stay with Kagen.
