Tomioka Yuuji, aged 32, works alone as a night-shift guard at a mall, where he finds solace in his hobbies of working out and hanging out on the roof. His poor social skills suit the job, but he still feels lonely. One night, he wishes upon a falling star for a friend, and the next day he discovers a creepy note predicting his death within a year at the mall's entrance. Suddenly, Tomioka's life takes a strange turn as he suspects someone is watching him from a nearby building. As the mystery deepens, he becomes anxious about who sent the eerie note and who that ominous figure could be.
