It is the fall of their freshman year in high school when Yuki Amano and Hayato Kuga find themselves seated next to each other following a reassignment. Kuga, who is outgoing and well-liked, begins to tease Amano, who is introverted and rarely smiles. However, Amano soon finds herself intrigued by Kuga, and he becomes equally interested in her. Both of them are inexperienced when it comes to matters of the heart, unaware that they are slowly falling in love with each other.
