Since they were kids, Yukari, Haruhi, and Ruka have shared a platonic bond. Yukari and Haruhi are of the same age bracket, but Ruka is younger. Nonetheless, the equilibrium of their bond is disturbed when Haruhi declares romantic feelings for Yukari. They then commence a love affair, creating complications when Ruka also expresses interest in Yukari.
