In a bizarre Manga set in a school, a rowdy boy named Yakeppachi and a girl called Maria take center stage in an unusual sex education tale. Yakeno Yahachi, who is known for his disruptive behavior, produces a lovely girl named Maria while in a trance-like state. What's even more peculiar is that her personality is identical to Yakeppachi's own. In truth, Maria is the "ectoplasm" of Yakeppachi- a mist-like substance generated by a spirit medium during a seance that resembles an "astral body." Yakeppachi's father gifts her with a doll form, and she begins attending classes alongside her companion.
The sudden appearance of Maria throws the school into chaos, but the only person who realizes that this a supernatural event is their teacher, Akita. The developing plot takes an exciting turn when a group of youths, called the "Group of Tateyoko," who have been keeping watch over Yakeppachi, discover Maria's secret and decide to attack. The situation worsens when the leader of the "Group of Tateyoko," Yukisugi Midori, becomes jealous of Maria's popularity with the boys and decides to hurt her.
