Licorice Radiata is no stranger to Déjà vu. For as long as she can remember, she has experienced a sense of familiarity, like everything has already occurred. But when she comes across a portrait of her fiancé Wolfgang Eisenhut, memories flood her mind. She recognizes herself as a rival character in a dangerous otome game, and Wolfgang is just one of the targets.
In the original story, Licorice was the jealous rival who committed horrific and violent acts. Even in the heroine's good ending, Licorice met a bloody demise. Determined to avoid the same fate, Licorice recalls her scattered memories and prepares herself to do whatever it takes. But changing fate is not easy, and Licorice faces a difficult task in preventing Wolfgang's descent into darkness. She may have to accept that one's nature is not so easily changed.
