In a class of elementary school students with special abilities, Miko Hakaba, Sako Boseki, and Koko Furuido are among the few remaining after their teacher announces his search for the strongest student to become the powerful "Banchou." The class splits into pairs and engages in battle until only the three girls are left. But their victory is cut short when a youkai suddenly appears and attacks the school. The class was set up to fight against youkai threats to humanity, and the Banchou is the leader tasked with leading the charge.
