Mischievous spirits and demons known as Youkai have been causing trouble in Japan for centuries. Kotoko's grandfather made a living by banishing them, but she never thought of her lineage as particularly valuable.
That is, until Kotoko meets Kuro, a Youkai physician. She never knew Youkai had doctors. As Kotoko learns more about their healing practices, she realizes that it's much harder to heal Youkai than to just banish them.
This volume also includes a one-shot called "Kiraboshi Tentou."
