In 1884, also known as Meiji 17, Genemon Sakuragi receives a mission from his master to seek out a brave individual in Tokyo. While on his quest, he witnesses a skilled young fighter named Fuutaro Yukimura battling against three assailants with impressive technique. Intrigued by the youth's abilities, Genemon takes note. As an exhibition match approached, announced by Marquis Tenzen Shibahara, the already competitive world of martial arts in the Meiji Era became even more intense. It was set to be an epic showdown, pitting the strongest unarmed martial artists in Tokyo against each other.
