Once in a while, a cluster of 496 demons from hell selects a single human to partake in the competition of "Diabloli". The central character of the narrative is a scholar in high school, called "Gi-chan", who is elected by a demon as its representative. Gi-chan acquires the ability to control fire and is given a solitary desire. Surprisingly, Gi-chan's solitary wish is to go to school. The manga is a thrilling and enjoyable tale.
