A decade ago, Fujiwara realized his ability to perceive vividly hued auras enveloping individuals. Since that momentous discovery, his subconscious has been haunted by a surreal vision of a feline warfare. Eventually, he crosses paths with an enigmatic girl, who, after being harassed by loathsome crows and tumbling from a tree, embarks on a quest for her misplaced hat. As the day progresses, Fujiwara experiences a phantasmagorical episode, in which he encounters the very same feline foes he battles in his nocturnal endeavors.
