The focus of Corpse Party is on a group of students and their teacher from Kisaragi Academy who take part in a mystical practice called Sachiko Ever After, in order to cheer up a friend who is transferring schools, with the hope of remaining friends forever. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned and they find themselves trapped in the sinister walls of Heavenly Host Elementary School, leaving them with no choice but to search for a way to break free from the ominous structure.
