Cyborg 009 follows the tale of Shimamura Joe, a half-Japanese delinquent also known as 'Cyborg 009.' Joe is captured by the clandestine organization 'Black Ghost,' which aims to initiate worldwide warfare, alongside eight other social outcasts from across the globe, remodelling them into cyborgs. Despite Black Ghost's intentions to mould the group into unstoppable killing machines, Joe and his cohorts unite to overthrow their captors, aided by a former scientist.
Following their escape, Black Ghost unleashes a fleet of cyborgs and colossal robots to recapture the runaway group. Utilizing their enhanced abilities, our heroes evade Black Ghost's malevolent operations, but can they foil the organization's nefarious plot and save humanity?
