Taiki dreams of leading a Digimon army as its "General" against an opposing force composed of several Mammon, Rhinomon, and Valvemon. He Digixroses Shoutmon, Balistamon, and Dorulumon into Shoutmon x4, who effortlessly defeats most of the enemy. Oversleeping, Akari wakes him up by using her "Akari Strike" move.
While talking to Zenjirou, Taiki suddenly hears a melody and Shoutmon crying out. He searches for the source of the voice to save him. Akari and Zenjirou witness a car about to fall on Taiki, but he manages to escape thanks to Shoutmon's warning. Suddenly, the buildings and surroundings start to distort, causing electronic disturbances.
Taiki discovers a light and a melody, and a voice asks him if he wants to save it. A Xros Loader appears, and Taiki follows the voice's instructions. Once the melody is absorbed, Taiki, Akari, and Zenjirou fall into a wormhole-like digital space that transports them to the Digital World. They find themselves in the middle of the Bagura Army, led by Mach Leomon - the same army Taiki saw in his dream.
