In Dragon Quest VII, the lead character is Arus, a young boy living in the fishing village of Fishbel on Estard Island. His father is a prominent fisherman in the town, which is the sole patch of land in a world completely covered by water. Arus embarks on a thrilling adventure when he stumbles upon relics from a forgotten civilization, triggering a series of events that opens up new dimensions in space and time. Accompanied by a group of allies, Arus journeys through the past to solve mysteries, prevent destruction, and uncover the truth about his world. As he investigates further, Arus learns that his planet was once home to many continents that were inexplicably cut off from the rest of the world. This epic story is based on the video game of the same name, which has been on hiatus since 2006.
