All families encounter their own set of problems, irrespective of their scale. Shino Tadakoro enjoys an idyllic high school life filled with love and camaraderie, except for the fact that her brother Tamotsu is a shut-in. Refusing to acknowledge his existence, she tells everyone- including her closest friends- that she is an only child. However, Tamotsu shocks Shino by announcing his decision to abandon his reclusive lifestyle, leaving her with an impending sense of urgency. This marks the beginning of a story of rebuilding a fractured family.
