Nishino Aoi is a history enthusiast and a student in high school who enjoys participating in archery class. He daydreams of thriving in Japan's Sengoku period due to his archery skills and imagines having a wife like his clubmate, Seno-san. Unfortunately, Seno-san is already taken by Aoi's childhood friend, Kouta.
One day, a mysterious fog envelopes their school, granting Aoi and his peers a chance to experience the Sengoku era for themselves. They travel back in time to 1576-1582 near Azuchi Castle, but the reality is unlike Aoi's idealized musings. Hachisuka Koroku and his group launch an attack on the school, killing both teachers and students, making it challenging for Aoi and his companions to survive in this perilous era.
