History never captured Saburo's interest, as he failed to understand the significance of retaining knowledge about past events, particularly those dating back centuries. However, his outlook undergoes a drastic transformation when he falls off a wall and ends up in ancient Japan during the 16th century through a wormhole. In this unfamiliar era, he encounters a youthful Oda Nobunaga - one of the most prominent figures in Japanese history - who bears a striking resemblance to Saburo.
After becoming disillusioned with his life in the castle and yearning for a change of pace, the genuine Nobunaga instructs Saburo to assume his position. With no understanding of how to return to his own time, Saburo's main goal is to ensure that Oda Nobunaga's controversial impact on history remains unaltered.
