Despite her efforts to attract a guy through fashion magazines and other sources, Haruna's attempts prove to be in vain. She thinks that she needs a mentor, like in softball training, to become more attractive. As a result, she asks the cute senior Yoh Komiyama for help. However, Yoh agrees to assist under the condition that Haruna does not develop romantic feelings for him. It is important to mention that the last two volumes of the series, Koukou Debut -Enrenhen-, contain additional plots and a collection of short stories.
