"Ichiban!!!", written by Yoshikawa Arata, tells the story of Umezono Hinako, who transfers to a new school during the third semester of her second year in junior high. Hinako had struggled with making friends in her previous school and so she hopes to find new girlfriends at her new school. However, her hopes are quickly dashed when she realizes that Kaiou Daifuzoku Junior High used to be an all-boys school and there are only three girls in her class, including herself.
