With a voice resembling that of an anime character, Hachiya Mitsuka faced severe bullying in the past and had no friends. However, upon starting high school, she was determined to have a different life and make friends. On the first day of class, her classmate Kanisawa Kansai accidentally overhears her unique voice after she attempted to conceal it. To Mitsuka's surprise, rather than outcast her, Kansai requests to cast her as a voice actor in his anime.
