When Hime Kino was a child, she adored the voice of Sakura Aoyama, the famous actress of "Lovely Blazers." Ever since then, Hime has been enamored with the idea of becoming a voice actress like her role model.
Determined to follow in Sakura's footsteps, Hime enrolls in Hiiragi Academy, a prestigious voice acting school known for producing top-tier talent. To Hime's surprise, she is seated beside Senri Kudou, Sakura's already successful son. Wanting to prove herself worthy of her peers, Hime strives to impress. Sadly, when she attempts to introduce herself with her most adorable voice, it instead emerges as an old man's, earning her the unflattering nickname of "Gorilla Princess." To compound matters, she is also grouped with other students at risk of failing the course.
