At first, Emi and Aki were inseparable as they were the best of friends. Emi was the treasured child of a traditional Japanese onsen hotel owner while Aki was the heir of a renowned national hotel chain. However, their once cordial relationship has transformed into a bitter competition. Emi is forced to spend time with Aki after school because she lost a bet. As they continue to spend time together, Emi struggles with her unresolved romantic feelings for Aki. Unfortunately, their intense rivalry puts their friendship in grave danger.
