Throughout her entire life, Akira Tsubakiya had been constantly mistaken for a boy due to her tall stature, flat chest, and lack of girlish qualities. During her middle school years, she made a pact with a boy named Haru from her cram school that they would both strive to attend the same prestigious high school. Despite Haru revealing his preference for long-haired girls, Akira couldn't resist falling for him and began growing out her hair. However, upon graduation, she discovered Haru already had a girlfriend who fit his description of a dream girl - cute, girly, and long-haired.
