Yuzuru, a novice at Houjou Academy and aged fifteen, encounters Renge Kai, a mischievous wealthy student at the institution, during her summer job. Kai is a member of Kugeka, an exclusive class meant for affluent kids at Houjou.
Towards the end of summer, Yuzuru is informed that she has been selected to serve as Kai's "Honey". Kugeka selects pupils from the regular class to act as aides for the rich students, ensuring their seamless success. The advantage of being a Honey is the coverage of all school fees.
