Storm Fairy is a compilation of three short stories authored by the iconic mangaka, Osamu Tezuka. It revolves around an empress who seeks refuge after her castle catches fire and ends up encountering a mischief-maker fairy in the nearby forest. She is granted her wish, but she later discovers the steep price of her deal after giving birth to her daughter Ruri, who becomes a princess with an ugly appearance and must conceal her identity behind a mask. As a result, Ruri's curse is exposed when someone aiming to overthrow the emperor uses his daughter to impersonate the princess. Meanwhile, Ruri befriends a ronin and a fairy who assist her in reclaiming her rightful place on the throne.
Kokeshi Detective Agency tells the story of an audacious girl named Pako and her dog Moll, who solves eerie mysteries. Interestingly, her fearful older brother Taro is also obliged to accompany her on these adventures.
