Subaru, a little girl of five years, has put aside her friends and playtime. The reason for this is her twin brother Kazuma's illness, which has caused him to gradually forget everything – including Subaru. In a bid to make him remember her, Subaru visits him every day, talking and dancing for him. At day's end, he remembers her. A friend inspires Subaru to join ballet classes, which she does and falls in love with.
