Takeru Hibino is an employee at Ugetsu Bookstore. One day, he is left unsatisfied with the sudden conclusion of a mystery series, and decides to visit the home of its popular author, Kazumi Kuon, to offer his criticism. Unexpectedly, Kazumi takes possession of Takeru's body that same day. As a result of Kazumi's female Editorial Director's ulterior motives, Takeru becomes involved in a new series and develops a relationship with Kazumi. Although he is initially oblivious to it, Takeru's heart soon begins to fall for Kazumi's arrogant yet tender personality.
