Terumichi Hoshino is haunted by a recurring nightmare in which a beloved boy is being strangled to death. When events eerily similar to his dreams occur at school, his life is turned upside down. Hoshino's romantic involvement with charismatic and enigmatic Omihiko Yamada takes a dramatic turn when a stranger attempts to kill Yamada. Hoshino's attempt to save his partner leads to an astonishing resurrection from death. Devastated from the traumatic experience, Hoshino is left bewildered by his newfound perspective on life.
