The story takes place in the enigmatic metropolis of the 1960s, where madness and desire interweave. It centers on Sada, a detective with an unmistakable scar, as he tracks a woman accused of homicide. Despite his efforts, she successfully eludes him. In order to impede her escape and apprehend her, Sada decides to plaster wanted posters of the fugitive throughout the city.
