Ao, a high school student, has been harboring feelings for his long-time neighbor Ryomei, who also happens to be a priest at the nearby Shinto shrine. Ao feels a mixture of excitement and apprehension about the prospect of forming a romantic relationship with Ryomei. Despite his nerves, Ao confesses his feelings to Ryomei, only to be rejected outright. However, Ao is not one to be discouraged so easily. Through persistent effort and Ryomei's wavering resistance, Ao eventually succeeds in sharing a kiss with Ryomei. Nevertheless, one solitary kiss is not enough to satiate his desires for long.
