Miza Yuuji is fondly referred to as the "handsome clergyman" in Uguisuzaka Shopping District thanks to his remarkable abilities as a Buddhist priest and his modest and genial disposition that commands the respect and adoration of everyone around him. Despite taking a celibacy vow and pledging to remain single for life, he has concealed his affection for his closest friend Saburou since middle school. When Saburou returns to town eight years later to oversee his family's tofu shop, Yuuji's repressed emotions are resurfaced, further complicated by his drunken state in Saburou's company.
