Shinya Sugiki and Shinya Suzuki are distinguished only by the one-syllable variance in their names and their distinct dancing styles. Sugiki's reputation precedes him as the "Lord of Standard Ballroom" while Suzuki is known for his fiery Latin moves, earning him the title of "King of Latin Dance." Despite their differences, both harbor ambitions of winning the coveted 10 Dance Competition, a grueling event that requires pairs to perform ten unique styles of ballroom and Latin dances.
Sugiki, who has no experience with Latin dance, swallows his pride and asks Suzuki to teach him, offering in exchange to show his partner the subtleties of standard ballroom. Although initially resistant, Sugiki is persuaded to accept by his eager partner. Working together begrudgingly, they painstakingly refine each other's styles, and in the process, they unexpectedly discover a budding romance.
